Weight Loss Post Pregnancy Video | Ramp It Up With The Burpee Challenge!

Weight loss post-pregnancy (& this post applies to quite a long time post pregnancy please – this is high impact & slightly mad!) needs a little ridiculous-ness sometimes… a bit of fun, some serious heart-rate-raising  & a challenge. Please note: these exercises are NOT suitable for before 20 weeks postpartum / postnatal exercise! Jeez woman, everything’ll fall out… :0

OK, that’s the disclaimer | Only jump up & down if you can hold everything in please Ladies. (Low Impact Postnatal Cardio video can be found here).

Now if you’ve ever been to a circuit class or boot camp style workout, you’ll have experienced the dreaded burpee. They’re horrible. They’re mean. But boy do they get the heart rate up! I follow the lovely Dr Satkirin on YouTube for her amazingly strong & beautiful yoga practices… but she has begun the 50 Burpee Challenge for some fun & I thought I’d join her!

I think that’s about 24 – not even half way! Have a go, leave a comment to let us know how you did! And do video it on your phone & upload to the MuTu System facebook page – there’s a bit of competition starting up ;)

This video gives you just a taster of the style of the 12 week MuTu System video coaching programme. It’s not your average *shiny ladies in shiny studio* kind of video! This is how I work out to stay strong, lean & toned & it’s how I train my clients. It’s real life & it works!

Download 12-week MuTu System video coaching with full program document HERE! For less than the cost of one personal training session or a month’s gym membership in most towns, just look at what you get!!

Can you do these even if you have a diastasis?

    • http://mutusystem.com Wendy Powell

Hi Amanda, You need to be able to hold yourself *in & together* to be leaping around… These high impact moves are only suitable if your core is engaged & strong, & a wide diastasis compromises your ability to do this. So the answer is it depends on the extent of your diastasis, the strength & condition of your core as well as your ability to effectively engage the transverse & pelvic floor muscles. For specific help & a more personalised response, I would need more information – why not fill out the form for a consultation? I hope I can help.
