At MUTU System we believe in women. We believe in your power, your voice and the value that you bring to this world. ✊ This International Women’s Day, making a difference doesn’t have to mean marching for change or shouting the loudest. The real change-makers are those raising the next generation of children, who will know what it means to be a good human.

Your voice and your influence matter. You don’t have to be a Michelle Obama, Malala Yousafzai or Melinda Gates to make real change in this world. It’s those raising good humans that will have the greatest impact on our world.

On the 8th of March we celebrate International Women’s Day, and although there is SO much to celebrate and rejoice, so many incredible and powerful women doing their thing and showing the world that they can, we MUST talk about and highlight how far we still have to go.

We are so proud to get behind this year’s theme for International Women’s Day #ChooseToChallenge

As human beings, we each have a responsibility to make changes individually, to create a bigger movement. Your voice is powerful. Use it in any way you can. Empower, teach, take a stand, be kind.

MUTU System is proud to support:

  • Microloan Foundation, working to help women break the cycle of poverty in Africa, by providing training and micro-finance. MUTU CEO, Wendy Powell, is on the Women’s Development Board. The money they earn helps to provide food security, better housing, access to healthcare, and education for their children.
  • Mama Glow and Abuela Doulas by sponsoring trainee Black Birthworkers and Doulas through regular donations to scholarship funds in the US and the UK
  • Black Mamas Matter, an alliance created to advocate, drive research, build power, and shift culture of Black Maternal health, rights, and justice.

When girls and women are empowered, everyone wins.
