Before I became pregnant I was fit and ran a lot, but we lost our first Baby and so when I became pregnant again I stopped doing everything and ate too much… I then had a really traumatic birth which left me with a tough recovery road, so I was struggling with excess weight and C-section trauma.

I was desperate to start doing something for myself and was feeling really low about the way I looked after about 3-4months postpartum, and found MUTU System online. How was I feeling before MUTU? Awful, frankly. I couldn’t work out how my husband would ever find me attractive ever again and people regularly commented on the fact I was ‘expecting again’ – ouch, that one hurts! All the other mums seemed to have bounced back and I still looked 6 months pregnant. It was emotionally draining.
MUTU System was so positive right from the word go. I loved ticking off the downloadable journal each day and the fact there was some lenience meant it was sustainable. After losing 1kg a week for the first two weeks, I then had a wedding and week away and after two weeks hadn’t lost anymore, that was a blow! There were far more mini victories though – getting into new jeans, feeling smaller, seeing my running times go down and down!

The intensive workouts and walking everyday are my favourite parts. I really enjoy the exercises and within 25 mins I feel like I’ve worked hard and achieved before breakfast! The walking has been a good regimen for me and means my little man has had a walk and fresh air everyday.
I didn’t want it to end so went straight back to module 3 and started again (on module 7 now and moved my original goals!). I lost 9kg and feel like a different person, strong and in control. I don’t think anything has been so positively influential on me as MUTU, I think without it I would still be where I was, it’s been so holistic.
The unexpected results from the program are…my legs! They’re slimmer and more toned than before I was pregnant! I’m so proud of them!
