Our mission here at MUTU is to empower mums, and that goes for everything we do and every woman we work with, our customers, our employees and our partners. Making mothers feel supported in their career and through motherhood is deeply ingrained in everything we do, so we’re extremely happy to have been recognised for this award.
Flexible working means employers facilitate flexible working hours to ensure parents, and anyone that needs to work flexibly can do so, working their hours around things like childcare, school runs, even feeding and baby’s nap times. Whatever s**t you need to get done as a parent, flexible working is designed to make your life easier, so you can focus on being a parent whilst progressing in your career… Because you CAN and SHOULD be able to do both if you choose to! And guess what? It works! It benefits both employees and employers.
29 employers and their teams have been shortlisted across the categories which include SMEs, Family Support and Career Progression.
We’re were shortlisted in the SME (Small to medium enterprise) category. To even be considered we had to demonstrate real commitment to work-life balance practices which specifically help working parents, such as flexible working, support on return to work from maternity leave and career development for women.
Many of the women that work for MUTU are working parents who want to combine successful careers with being a parent, and we think we should make that as easy as possible for them to be badass at both.
